“But thanks be to God, who always leads us in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of Him everywhere. For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life. And who is equal to such a task?

“You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone. You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.”

Key Points:

  • God uses us to spread the news of His victory; to spread everywhere the aroma of the knowledge of Christ the King.
  • If there are parts of your life that give the name of Christ a “bad smell” then these need to be dealt with.
  • You are a living letter for Christ where you are in this world.
  • Our lives (the way that we conduct ourselves) open the doors for us to speak words to explain Jesus to people.
  • Invest time in learning tools to aid in sharing the good news with people in your life.
