Covid 19- Latest Leadership Announcement

To all Lifestreams Community

As you may have seen in the news, the West Australian Government has announced that certain WA businesses are required to re-introduce contact tracing measures, effective from Saturday 5 December 2020.

Lifestreams falls under many of these categories on our campus which means we need to be ready to meet these new requirements.

The good news is that there is an easy solution, with the government releasing the SafeWA App. This will make signing into a location very simple and it seems most businesses will run with this platform.

All that will be required is to scan a QR code upon entry, so that your details, as well as time of entry will be stored only for 28 days.

The free App is available from the applicable App stores.

There will multiple places with QR codes as you enter the Lifestreams campus. This process will be an addition to other current sign in processes for premises hirers and users, which still need to be followed. We will continue to maintain all of our manual processes for those who choose not to use the App or who do not have a mobile phone.

It is important to note that this regulation only applies to people over the age of 16.

People entering to collect takeaway coffee from the Loop café are also exempt.

There are significant fines if we fail to comply so we are going to need all of our community to help out while we embed the process. So please be patient with any extended queues while we continue to ensure that everyone is signed in as smoothly and efficiently as possible. We want to ensure that Lifestreams remains a safe place to visit at any time, and we have the right to refuse entry to anyone who fails to comply with this regulation.

For Lifestreams Church Congregation

For church services on Sunday we need to comply with contact tracing and the regulated capacity requirement so

  • We still need you to register for the service that you would like to attend
  • We will continue to have manual check in sheets at the Welcome Desk to enable us to monitor availability of seats for those who register, but do not attend
  • We still need you to register for your children to attend a service and check them in for Children’s Ministry at the hall (no change to this process)

For those who have not registered, if there are available seats

  • You will need to either write your contact details on the list at the Welcome Desk  OR
  • You can scan the QR code at the Welcome Desk if you have the app on your phone

Again, we will continue to maintain all manual processes for those who need them.

Thank you all for your assistance as we move towards another twist in the new covid-normal.

Please feel free to direct any questions to the church office
