Jesus, is travelling up to Jerusalem with His disciples and many others, in the week before the cross. He continues to train His disciples to be ready for when He  has left this earth. In this passage Jesus teaches them, and provides practical illustration through the healing of blind Bartemaus, that being significant in Jesus Kingdom (being Christlike) is all about humility, serving people and self sacrifice; which actually describes Jesus.
