Christmas 2020

What is it?

Who would you like to show love to over this Christmas season?
(You might consider family, neighbours, schools, workplaces, sporting clubs etc.)

How do you enjoy showing love to people?
(words of encouragement, serving others, spending time together, gift giving…)

Let’s creatively join together to show love to the people who are in our spheres of influence.

To help align us to love well, we have a message series we’ve just journeyed through “He first loved” –which will hopefully inspire and bless you.

Please email Liz Roberts if you have stories, photos or videos that you would be happy to share to encourage others.

How to get involved in our church activities

Kid’s Ministry Chocolate Love – This year the kids at Lifestreams will be involved in bringing a box of chocolates to hand out to people in our community. Email Bec Ellery for more information.

Christmas Hampers – Each year we hand out Christmas Hamper to people in our community. You can also get involved by handing food hampers out to people you know going through a hard time (closes December 6th). For more information, to get involved or to nominate someone for a hamper,  Email Julie Bond or give to our Christmas Hamper Christmas Appeal. Look for the community care fund on our giving page. Gifts over $2 are tax deductible. Please make sure your use your full name on the donation or email us if you would like a receipt. All extra donations will go towards our food hampers for the community during the rest of the year.

Youth Angel Tree project – Angel tree is designed to reach the innocent victims of crime who are often forgotten children of prisoners. Being separated from a parent at Christmas time is a painful experience. Angel Tree touches those children with the love of Christ at Christmas by providing them with special Christmas gifts. Please email Grace Cook for more information.

Social Media Shout Out’s – Take a couple of photos and write up a small blurb to champion and promote a business who is serving our community well and we’ll give them a shout out on our Lifestreams social media platforms. Email Tam Jones for more information.

Christmas Belong Picnic – Invite your friends and family to our Christmas picnic on the 13th December after our second service. Email Mandy Wallace for more information.

Grace Gathering Carols & Christmas Community Lunch – Come along and sing some Christmas carols with us and then stay on for a delicious Christmas community lunch on Tuesday 15 December, 11.30am. The Christmas Community Lunch costs $5 per person, please RSVP to Liz Roberts by Tuesday 8 December.
